He that conceals his GRIEF finds no remedy for it.
Turkish Proverb
Let’s talk about Grief!
Don’t run away…
Stop and turn around with open arms and begin to embrace the hurt and the pain that you are experiencing…
You want me to EMBRACE my Grief?
Yes, it is important to embrace, to become familiar with, to understand, to connect with and to know your grief.
It’s YOUR grief and no one can take it from you or experience it the way you are experiencing it.
Grief can be a dark, confusing, scary and lonely journey. It can be agonizing to lose someone or something that you love.
But in order to get to the other side you have to walk through it.
Is this an easy process? NO, absolutely not, but it is a necessary process.
It takes a conscious effort, hard work, courage and support
Even though grief is universal; remember everyone grieves differently – we all have our own personal unique story.
Be compassionate, patient and kind to yourself. Handle your grief with care.
Remember:
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Psalm 34:18
There is Hope!

I wish I would have known you after my mom passed away. It was brutal. I also had a hard time understanding how my sister was not coping, in my opinion, with losing Mom. But now, looking back, I see that we were dealing with it so differently.
